Capriole Dressage

The elegantly designed and styled
Capriole Dressage Saddle by Frank Baines is an exceptionally comfortable
saddle, made from the worlds finest leathers.
Oiled full grain solid leathers for the flaps and skirts and a new soft ,
natural Aniline hide, or Nubuck (optional), by Pittards, for the seat and
pads.
The position of the knee block ensures a close and flatter position to
support the upper leg aided by long girth straps which are secured in a
`V` formation to help minimize any movement.
A wide, soft padded seat provides comfort and excellent balanced support
for the rider and a specially designed new panel system allows a closer
contact feel.

The Eclipse design is based on an Award winning entry in the Saddle of
the Year competition.
While no one saddle is going to be perfect for everything, the Eclipse GP
has been designed to provide the rider with a saddle well suited to many
different equestrian activities. A ribbed pad allows the long wide
flap to mould itself to the Knee Roll, providing added comfort and
stability and enabling the saddle to be used for a variety of
disciplines. Consideration was given to every detail to make this

Elan Close Contact
Key Features:
The Elan Close Contact is a saddle designed for the true connoisseur, a
favourite with 3 Day Day Eventers and Show Jumping Riders. The rich
full grain solid leathers for the flaps and skirts and a new soft, supple,
Aniline hide, by Pittards, for the seats and pads. When oiled this
offers that grip and provides the rider with added confidence.
The design and construction of the narrow waisted, wide seated tree, which
is made from re-enforced laminated birch, enables the rider to maintain
perfect balance and control of the horse throughout. The use of multi
layered latex in the seat offers outstanding comfort and support. Using
the latest technology for our standard panel system, which has been
designed and developed to our own specifications, offers the ultimate fit
and maintains the rider`s contact with the horse at all times. For the
year 2000 Frank Baines Saddlery have redesigned the Elan Close Contact to
offer the option of wool flocked panel to enable easy adjustment.

Hunter (VSD)

A well designed saddle for those who enjoy Showing, Dressage and flat
work. The VSD has slightly more forward cut flap than the Elegance
Dressage giving complete freedom for the horse`s shoulder, and avoiding
any obstruction. Making it the ideal saddle for multi purpose
use.
Also very popular with the Long Distance riders, and is well suited to
those with short backed horses. Dee rings and other fittings are

Enduro L.D.R

The Enduro L.D.R provides exellent comfort for both horse and rider.
The specially designed tree is made from re-enforced laminated Birch
carrying a full three year guarantee and has panels which extend slightly
beyond the cantle to distribute the riders weight evenly. With new
broader panels, they offer an exellent bearing surface and close contact
feel and this combined with soft wool flocking provides suberb comfort for
